Charity & Civic Rides Minimize

Would you like to support variety of worthy causes while enjoying some great cycling at the same time? Each spring various clubs, charities and civic organizations  sponsor rides of various lengths..  Many of these rides are easily within driving distance of Fayetteville. Registration fees are very affordable. Most events offer souvenir shirts, fully stocked rest stops and SAG vehicles if you have a mechanical or other problem. During the 2010 cycling season, C4 wants to encourage participation in rides across the state. benefiting  Easter Seals/United Cerebral Palsy, the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Habitat for Humanity, UNC Kidney Center, the Wounded Warrior Project, Carolina Animal Rescue and Adoption and many others.

Already C4 riders are making plans to represent our club in various rides, continuing a tradition that has seen our riders raise tens of thousands of dollars to help those in need while having fun at the same time. Click on the links below for event information.  We will try to caravan and car pool when we can. Contact Lou Plummer, 910-728-8695 with questions.

(Most events offer rides of various lengths, so if you aren't up to a full century, you can usually ride a fully supported metric or half century instead or even a shorter distance if you choose to)
