Saturday, April 18th, 2009, Clinic starts at 9:00 AM, Registration Opens at 0845; Location: Fayetteville Community Church (West Parking)

2010 Middle River Loop,  Fayetteville, NC   (Just North of Carolina Rim & Wheel (T&H) off of Middle Road)

The clinic is led by USA Cycling certified coaches Tom Brew, Joe O’Callaghan, and possibly others, and assisted by members of the Cross Creek Racing Team Juniors and Seniors/Masters squads.

Skills to be demonstrated and practice include wheel touching, bumping and leaning drills, bicycle handling, cornering techniques, paceline work and much more!  Games and prizes as well!   If you want to improve the safety and enjoyment in your fitness riding or racing, this is the way to learn the tips and techniques the pros use.  It’s also a great place to start a racing career.  We’ll be talking about junior racing and training too.  Class size is limited to 25 riders, so call now to reserve a space.  The clinic will run about 4 -5 hours.

One Day USA Cycling licenses or USAC racing licenses required to cover liability and medical insurance;  One Day Licenses will be available on site for $10.  All participants must sign a USA Cycling Standard Athlete Release Waiver.   This is a Non-competitive event, but is officially permitted by C4 and USA Cycling (pending)

*  Helmets required.

*  Bikes must be in good working order.

*  Road or Cross bikes only.

Cost: $15- Juniors (under 19 years old)  /  $25-Adults

Costs will include a “cyclist’s lunch”, water & sports drinks, and a performance nutrition discussion during lunch
