The RR and TT are located on Fort Bragg
Course Description
The RR and TT courses are located inside the military base of Ft. Bragg, NC. Please note the special section about vehicle/passenger check in procedures at the bottom of this page. Both the RR & TT course consists of a 16.18-mile loop & has some rolling hills for a total climb of 784 feet per lap. The roads are in good condition and completely swept for debris. Please note that the TT course for the Junior categories is an out-and-back (O&B) course.
From Charlotte to Fort Bragg: From Charlotte take I74 East approximately 69 Miles to US 1 North. Turn Left onto US 1 North 29 miles into Southern Pines. Bear Right onto Old US 1 29 miles to Morganton Rd. Turn Right onto Morganton Rd to S May St.. Bear Left onto S May St to E Connecticut Ave. On Connecticut Ave. proceed thru gate onto Fort Bragg. Turn Left onto Manchester Road proceed 12 miles to Lamont Rd. Turn Right onto Lamont Road and go straight to intersection of Lamont and Longstreet Rd. Turn Right onto Longstreet Rd. Parking is 200 meters on left.
From Raleigh to Fort Bragg: From Raleigh take US 401 South approximately 29 miles to SR210. Bear Right onto SR 210 through Lillington to Spring Lake about 20 miles. Bear Left onto SR24 in Spring Lake and continue past the 1st Ft Bragg entrance.. As you go down the hill and over the RR Tracks be in the right lane. Exit Right onto the Fort Bragg and stay in the Right Lane to the checkpoint. Must have photo ID for all in vehicle and License, Insurance Card, Registration for driver. Proceed out of checkpoint turning right onto Randolph St. Go Straight to the Big "Iron Mike" statue and turn Right onto Armistead St. Turn Left at the light onto Macomb St. go to the end. Turn Right onto Reilly Rd and get in the left lane. Turn Left onto Longstreet Rd and proceed out of the south checkpoint. Proceed Straight at Stop sign; parking is 200 meters on your left.
From Southbound I95 to Fort Bragg: Exit onto I95B (Business 95) / SR 301; Turn Right onto Owen Drive; Remain on Owen Drive as it becomes the All American Freeway; Continue on the AA Freeway to the Fort Bragg checkpoint and get into the left lane. Must have photo ID for all adults in the vehicle and License, Insurance Card, Registration for driver. Proceed out of checkpoint and go Straight (past the hospital on the right) to Longstreet Road (Traffic Light) and get into the Left lane. Turn Left onto Longstreet Rd and proceed out of the south post checkpoint. You will see the start/finish line. Parking attendants will guide you to park.
Military Base Check-in Procedures: For all vehicles entering Fort Bragg from SR 87 (Bragg Blvd) and without a government sticker, you must go thru the Randolph Street Gate and process thru the checkpoint. If entering from the All American Freeway, you will use the left-most lanes to process. At the checkpoint all persons in the vehicle must show a valid picture ID (drivers license, or other ID). You will be asked to exit the vehicle and open your hood and trunk so a quick visual search. Once done, follow the remainder of the directions above. The security personnel at the gate will have maps available of you need one. There will also be signs on the right side of the road directing you to the parking area near the start/finish line.

Course Description
The course consists of a clockwise .7-mile loop on an almost flat course. The roads are in good condition with only some smooth cobbles on Hay Street where the Start/Finish line is. Free parking is available.
From Charlotte to Fayetteville: From Charlotte take I74 East approximately 69 Miles to US 1 North; Turn Left onto US 1 North 29 miles through Southern Pines; Continue on US 1 to Sanford and Exit Right for SR 87 South (Truck stop billboard); Turn Right onto SR 87 and go through Sanford; Bear Right onto SR 87 South towards Fayetteville (just past Wal-Mart on the Right); In Spring Lake SR 87 and SR 24 split, remain on the primary road (SR 24 South) past Fort Bragg; Continue on SR 24 thru town, you will cross-over SR 87/SR 401 and see Stewart Nissan on the right.; Continue Straight on Bragg Blvd. past Rowan Street and get in Left lane; Just past the Special Forces and Airborne Museum Turn Left onto Hay Street
From Raleigh to Fayetteville: Take US 401 South from Raleigh thru Lillington towards Fayetteville; Once in Fayetteville, US 401 will also be Ramsey Street; Just past a shopping area you will turn Right to continue on US 401/ SR 87; Exit and Turn Left onto SR 24 (Bragg Blvd.); Continue Straight on Bragg Blvd. past Rowan Street and get in Left lane; Just past the Special Forces and Airborne Museum Turn Left onto Hay Street
From Points South on I95 to Fayetteville: From Northbound I95 Exit onto SR 87 North; Exit and turn Right onto Hay Street
From Points North on I95 to Fayetteville: From Southbound I95 use Exit 52 onto SR 24 West; Go over the Cape Fear River and thru town, get into the left lane when you get to the overpass; Turn Left onto Bragg Blvd. and stay in the left lane
