The Bicycle Donations Program
The Bicycle Donations Program is designed to support families and children throughout the year with new and refurbished bicycles. Applications are taken and reviewed for monthly donations. The program also supports Senior Citizens, Mentally Challenged persons, and to supply transportation to those working and in need of support.
At the end of each year, the “Annual Christmas Bicycle Giveaway” donates hundreds of bicycles to families who would otherwise not be able to purchase one. This giveaway not only supports Cumberland County, but 6 surrounding counties. These counties include Hoke, Harnett, Robeson, Scotland, Bladen and Lee.

Veterans Day Ride
We will be having our Annual Veterans Day Ride on Tuesday November 11th. Will begin at Huske Hardware on Hay Street at 9 am. This ride will be like the one a couple years ago, start at HHH, go to Museum Cape Fear, FILI Armory, FILI Parade Ground, Cape Fear River Bridge, Flea Hill, Averasboro Battlefield and back to HHH for lunch. 60+ miles, self supported, no drop, (we would keep the MPH average around C+/B-). George Hatcher our resident historian will briefly speak about some of the military history at each of the stops. We ask that you come prepared for whatever the weather is and you must have and wear a cycling helmet.
